Studies

He received his „cum laude” veterinary degree at Szent István University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest in 2006. During his university studies he was the president of the Students’ Secretariat between 2004-2005 and he was a member of the evaluation panel at the Students’ Scientific Conferences between 2003-2005. He also completed voluntary shifts at the University’s Internal Medicine Department and Clinic. He completed an externship at the Airport Animal Emergency Center, Log Cabin Animal Hospital, Indianapolis, USA in 2005.

Work places, professional experience

After graduation Dr. Bendzsel started working in the USA at the above mentioned emergency clinic. In his free time he visited more than 20 clinics to gain more experience. After his return to Hungary, he worked at the Klapka Veterinary Center in Budakeszi for two years. Following years of preparation, he founded the Hungarovet Veterinary Clinic in 2009.

• Together with Dr. Gál Sándor he established the Hungarovet veterinary educational website in 2003

• Appointed as „Master instructor of practical training of SzIE Faculty of Veterinary Medicine” in 2014

Areas of interest

Dr. Bendzsel developed a special interest in otology, and is also very interested in the internal medicine and soft tissue surgery of dogs and cats. His hobby is also his job: he is subscribed to numerous hungarian and foreign journals, and collects veterinary-related textbooks with great enthusiasm.

I have been a part of the Hungarovet team since 2012. I moved to the capital after I received my degree from drawing and viusal communication in Eger. Besides drawing and art, animals are my other great love, so I feel vey lucky to be able to work with what I really love.

My job is to keep the clinic clean and to insure suitable supply of pharmaceutics and other products. It gives me much pleasure to ensure the well-being of dogs and cats as the assistant of Dr. Bendzsel Dániel.

Kóla was born on 19 April, 2008 in Szatymaz, as a daughter of hunter parents. She is the heart and soul of our clinic, an enthusiast of womens’ bags and a professional food thief. She is happy to welcome every guest, let it be two- or four-legged. Despite what it might seem like, she is quite snappy outside the clinic. If you are lucky, you might be able to witness her on the run at the Tétény plateau.
